Production Control Coordinator

Now Hiring: Production Control Coordinator Location: Lima, OH Pay: $29.09+ per hour Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Control Coordinator to support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This temporary role is responsible for inventory analysis, production planning support, materials coordination, shipment prioritization, and ensuring parts availability to meet customer demands. The ideal candidate will have experience in production control, materials management, inventory control, supply chain coordination, or manufacturing operations. Job Duties Monitor inventory levels and identify potential material shortages. Analyze part availability, shipping status, and customer requirements. Coordinate expedited shipments to support production schedules. Prioritize material allocations and customer orders based on business needs. Track inventory, rack availability, shipping progress, and transportation schedules. Collaborate with scheduling, logistics, production, and customer teams to resolve supply chain issues. Maintain accurate records using SAP, Excel, and other production control systems. Investigate shortages, inventory discrepancies, and delivery concerns while providing timely updates. Requirements Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in Production Control, Materials Management, Inventory Control, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Operations. Experience working in a manufacturing environment required. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems such as SAP. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma, MRP, and inventory management is a plus.
