Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Greensboro, NC | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 26-Week Assignment | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holiday Rotation Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to a primarily Medical-Surgical population on a telemetry-capable unit with 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratios Perform blood product administration, peripheral line care management, and IV insertion Administer and monitor Heparin, Insulin, and PCA therapy; manage patients on nasal cannula oxygen Implement and maintain isolation precautions in accordance with facility protocols Utilize Rapid Response teams as clinically indicated Serve as Charge RN as needed and float to other campuses within the health system as required Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission BLS certification required EPIC EMR experience required Must successfully pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed) Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted No local candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility; current driver's license required to verify address Preferred Experience / Skills Prior experience in a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry setting Experience serving in a Charge RN capacity Familiarity with Rapid Response team protocols and escalation procedures Why Join Us Gain experience across a large, multi-campus health system with exposure to diverse patient populations 26-week contract offers extended stability and the opportunity to build meaningful clinical relationships Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 775584.
