Location: Libertyville, IL (Hybrid Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Technical Writer / Organizational Change Management (OCM) Consultant to support multiple enterprise transformation initiatives. This role will serve as the primary point of communication between technical project teams and business stakeholders, ensuring end users are well-informed, prepared, and supported throughout each phase of the transformation.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional technical writing and communication skills, experience developing end-user documentation, and the ability to lead change management activities across cross-functional teams. Experience with Microsoft 365 , Active Directory , and enterprise IT transformation projects is strongly preferred.

• Create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for enterprise technology initiatives.

• Develop end-user guides, FAQs, knowledge base articles, training materials, process documentation, and communication plans.

• Support Microsoft 365 tenant migration and Active Directory transformation initiatives by documenting user impacts and business processes.

• Coordinate and facilitate project communications, stakeholder meetings, Q&A sessions, workshops, and training activities.

• Partner with project managers, technical teams, and business leaders to gather requirements and translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.

• Drive organizational change management activities to ensure successful user adoption of new technologies and processes.

• Identify communication risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.

• Track action items, manage multiple priorities, coordinate meetings, and ensure project deliverables remain on schedule.

• Support the upcoming Data Lakehouse initiative by assisting with business communications, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and organizational readiness.

• 5+ years of Technical Writing, IT Communications, Organizational Change Management, or related experience.

• Proven experience creating end-user documentation for enterprise technology projects.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings, user training sessions, and project communications.

• Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple concurrent initiatives.

• Strong relationship-building skills with business and technical stakeholders at all organizational levels.

• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 (Office 365) migrations.

• Experience with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), or identity management projects.

• Experience supporting enterprise cloud migration or digital transformation initiatives.

• Knowledge of Data Lake, Data Lakehouse, data governance, or analytics platforms.

• Experience with Organizational Change Management methodologies (Prosci or equivalent).

• Project coordination or project management experience.
