Tin's is an ambitious new cocktail bar concept set to open in the Lower East Side in 2026. Led by an award-winning ownership team, we're seeking driven   Hosts to help launch and operate this innovative hybrid space.

THE ROLE

We are seeking Hosts to manage the front door and control the flow of guests across all three floors. You are the first person every guest interacts with, the impression you set matters. This role requires composure, organization, and the ability to communicate warmly and accurately under pressure. You will work closely with the Maître d', AGM, and floor team to manage reservations, walk-ins, and pacing throughout service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet every guest promptly on arrival, eye contact first, then verbal acknowledgment.
• Manage the reservation system and walk-in flow in coordination with the Maître d' and floor manager.
• Seat guests and walk them to their table. Confirm tables are clean and set before seating.
• Maintain awareness of floor capacity, table turns, and wait times across all three levels.
• Communicate accurate wait times, honestly and warmly.
• Coordinate with servers and management on section assignments and VIP arrivals.
• Answer phones. Handle reservation inquiries, modifications, and cancellations.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the entry, host stand, and lobby area.
• Acknowledge every departing guest.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 1 year host or front-of-house experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Composure under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills, managing a book, reading a floor, tracking multiple parties.
• Professional verbal communication with guests of all kinds.
• Familiarity with Resy, OpenTable, or a similar reservation platform.
• Presentable appearance consistent with restaurant standards.
• Punctual and reliable.

PREFERRED

• Experience in a multi-floor or high-volume operation.
• Fluency in Chinese is a big plus.
• Knowledge of the Lower East Side dining scene.
