Job Description
The Minnesota Department of Information Technology Services (MNIT) in partnership with The Minnesota Department of Corrections (DOC) is seeking an IT Business Liaison to support the PRISM initiative, a multi-year effort to replace the department's Offender Management System, currently in active development with the implementing vendor. This role will be assigned specific system capabilities and will require working directly with business subject matter experts and the vendor's business analysts to elicit, document, and refine requirements, clarify business needs and processes as development progresses, and ensure what is delivered aligns with what the business expects. Collaboration with internal teams, business owners, and other Business Analysts and Project Managers working on the same initiative, assisting where needed to keep work moving, and ensure alignment with business goals.
Candidate must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Strong negotiation skills
- High degree of diplomacy and problem-solving skills
- Both business and technical acumen
- Presentation planning and development
- Meeting and solution facilitation
- Data modeling
