Alliant University, the nation’s largest provider of licensed clinical psychologists and top‑three provider of licensed K–12 teachers in the U.S., seeks an innovative, future‑focused Provost and Chief Academic Innovation Officer to guide teaching and learning into the future.

The University has five schools: the California School of Professional Psychology; School of Education; School of Nursing and Health Sciences; School of Management and Leadership; and School of Forensic Studies. The flagship Scripps Ranch campus is in San Diego with additional locations in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, Irvine, Sacramento, Fresno, and Phoenix, Arizona.

Responsibilities

• The Provost serves as the chief academic officer, ensuring the integrity, rigor, and coherence of all academic programs.
• The Provost advances innovation in online and on‑site programs, technology, and new delivery models in alignment with faculty governance, accreditation standards, and disciplinary excellence.
• The Provost fosters a student‑focused, data‑driven academic culture that embraces where higher education is going, not only where it has been.

Qualifications

• Record of demonstrated success in innovative curriculum development and improved student outcomes.
• Ability to perform within a complex organization at the leadership level.
• Terminal degree required.

Benefits

• Salary range roughly $320,000 to $360,000, plus the opportunity to earn an annual performance‑based bonus.
• The Provost is expected to reside near Alliant’s campus location in either San Diego, California, or Phoenix, Arizona.
