Location/Schedule: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)

Base Salary: Up to $190k (plus performance bonuses)

Practice: First Party Property Coverage – Complex property damage claims, business interruption, catastrophe losses, and high-exposure coverage disputes for insurers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze first-party property policies and prepare detailed coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and declination letters for complex claims.
• Handle declaratory judgment actions, bad faith litigation, and coverage disputes involving property damage, business interruption, and catastrophe losses.
• Manage high-exposure claims from initial adjustment through litigation, including discovery, expert coordination, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Collaborate with clients, claims professionals, and coverage counsel on strategy, settlement negotiations, and risk management for large-scale losses.

Core Requirements (Flexibility for Exceptional Candidates):

• JD and active GA bar (multi-jurisdictional a plus).
• 3–7+ years of first-party property coverage or related insurance litigation experience with strong analytical and writing skills.
