Warehouse Cherry Picker OperatorsCarParts.com (formally known as US Auto Parts and JC Whitney) is seeking FULL-TIME Warehouse Cherry Picker Operators for multiple shifts during the day, night, or on weekends. Shifts may vary by location and may include shift differential pay.The Cherry Picker / Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Operator is responsible for safely operating cherry pickers and other PIT equipment to retrieve, transport, and store products within the fulfillment center. This role focuses on order fulfillment, putaway, and replenishment while maintaining safety, accuracy, and productivity standards.We believe in work/life balance and have several shifts available to meet your personal needs!Fulltime Weekday 3 days: Mon - Wed from 5 am - 5:30 pmFulltime Weekday Nights 4 days: Mon - Thur from 6:00 pm - 4:30 amFulltime Weekend 3 days: Thur - Sat 5:00 am - 5:30 pmAs a Distribution Center Forklift Operator Team Member, you will be part of an energetic team environment with the opportunity to work in a variety of positions in our warehouse.Properly and safely operate lift trucks, including stock pickers and cherry pickers, in compliance with company policies and OSHA regulationsComplete required Order Picker checklists prior to operation and ensure pallets are properly positioned on forks before liftingMonitor equipment readiness, including ensuring battery levels do not fall below 25%Inspect and properly use safety harnesses and lanyards; ensure equipment is in good working condition prior to useSafely pick up pallets from designated staging locationsPut away inventory accurately and document storage locations using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or RF scannerUse scan guns/RF devices to pick customer ordersPlace products securely on pallets and transport pallets to staging or outbound areasPractice safe material handling techniques at all timesCount items during putaway and verify quantities against scanner or system dataEnsure items being put away match current stock and product specificationsVerify all items are properly labeled prior to storage or stagingFollow FIFO/LP procedures by putting away older license plates (LPs) before newer ones, unless otherwise instructedAssist with packing or other fulfillment tasks as business needs requireMaintain cleanliness and organization of work areas throughout the shift and at end of dayMeet or exceed expected productivity, quality, and safety standardsPerform other work-related duties as assigned by leadershipWhat You Bring To The TeamAbility to safely operate stock pickers, cherry pickers, and other PIT equipment, or ability to become certifiedIntermediate interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsFlexible, adaptable attitude in a fast-paced fulfillment environmentStrong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and safetyGoal-oriented mindset with the ability to meet productivity expectationsAbility to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaAvailability to work required schedules to deliver high-quality outputWillingness and ability to work extended hours or overtime as business needs requireComfortable working independently and as part of a teamPrior warehouse, fulfillment, or PIT experience preferredMoving And GroovingOccasionally: Activity exists up to 1/3 of the time (8–12-hour shift)WalkingLifting: Heavy (51-101+ lbs.)Carrying: Sedentary-Heavy (1-100 lbs.)Crouching Frequently: Activity exists from 1/3 of the time up to 2/3 of the time (8–12-hour shift)Lifting: Sedentary-Medium (1-50 lbs.)Bending/StoopingTwistingReaching Constantly: Activity exists 2/3 or more of the time (8–12-hour shift)StandingPushing/PullingHandlingDrivingRepetitive movements (hand, feet)What We DoCarParts.com is the go-to eCommerce platform for auto care and maintenance.
