About the Role

The Company is seeking an SVP for Project Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting independent credit, financial, structural, and risk assessments of project finance transactions across various sectors, with a focus on renewable energy, energy transition, oil and gas, LNG, pipelines, and infrastructure. This role involves analyzing and validating project finance models, evaluating financing structures, identifying and assessing major project risks, and preparing comprehensive credit approval memoranda. The SVP will also be involved in presenting transaction analyses to senior management, supporting portfolio management activities, and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with advanced degrees being advantageous, and a minimum of 7 years' of project finance experience. Strong expertise in financial modeling, credit risk analysis, and a deep understanding of financing structures and project agreements are essential. Formal credit training is highly desirable, and the ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment is required. The role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to work with cross-functional teams, and proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office, with programming knowledge and Bloomberg experience considered a strong advantage. Fluency in English is required, and Spanish language skills are strongly preferred.
