About the Role

The Company is seeking an SVP for Project Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting independent credit, financial, structural, and risk assessments of project finance transactions across various sectors, with a focus on renewable energy, energy transition, oil and gas, LNG, pipelines, and infrastructure. This role involves analyzing and validating project finance models, evaluating financing structures, and identifying major project risks. The SVP will also be involved in preparing comprehensive credit approval memoranda, presenting transaction analyses to senior management, and supporting ongoing portfolio management activities. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with advanced degrees being advantageous, and a minimum of 7 years' of project finance experience. Strong expertise in financial modeling, credit risk analysis, and a deep understanding of financing structures used in project finance are essential. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple transactions, and advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office. Formal credit training is highly desirable, and fluency in English is required, with Spanish language skills being a strong preference. The SVP will also be expected to maintain portfolio and pipeline reports, ensure compliance with standards, and partner with various teams to facilitate transaction execution.
