About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President for Project Finance with a strong background in credit analysis, particularly within the project and infrastructure finance sectors. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years' experience in this field, with a focus on power and energy-related sectors, bespoke project financings, and broader infrastructure financings. Responsibilities for this role include leading the assessment of creditworthiness, maintaining rating opinions, and contributing to the development of sector methodologies. The successful candidate will also be involved in producing high-quality credit reports, leading research initiatives, and managing relationships with issuers and investors. Mentoring and coaching junior analysts, as well as representing the company at external events, are also key aspects of the position. Applicants for the Senior Vice President role at the company should possess a degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related discipline, with a preference for those holding a CFA or MBA. A strong background in the power sector, infrastructure, and financial markets is essential, as is experience in legal review of contracts and financial agreements. The role requires a candidate with proven leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a focus on detail. Experience in the U.S. PPP and infrastructure industry, as well as previous experience with a rating agency, is highly valued.
