About the Role

The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President of Legal Entity Accounting to lead a team in the preparation and review of financial statements, manage the financial close process, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving transformation within the legal entity accounting function, mentoring the team, and collaborating with various internal departments. Key duties include managing intercompany eliminations, liaising with external auditors, and maintaining a strong internal control framework. The role also involves contributing to transformation projects and managing the approval process for financial data in external presentations. Applicants for the Senior Vice President of Legal Entity Accounting position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA being preferred. A minimum of 10 years' of experience in financial reporting and accounting, including managing audits and regulatory filings, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP, financial controls, and proficiency in financial systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, OneStream, and DFIN. Demonstrated leadership and team development skills are essential, and experience in supporting capital markets or unsecured offerings, as well as knowledge of Wall Street Office software, is a plus. The role demands a strategic thinker who can evaluate and improve financial processes and is adept at managing a high-performing team.
