Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding school-based setting, providing Speech-Language Pathology services to students in a K-12 environment near Denton, TX. This contract opportunity spans from mid-August 2026 through late May 2027, allowing you to support diverse learners and help shape their communication skills over the course of a full school year.

You’ll manage a caseload that includes approximately seven bilingual therapy students (primarily for evaluations), ensuring you’ll gain valuable experience in both monolingual and bilingual service delivery. Working five days a week, you’ll benefit from a structured schedule and a welcoming educational community that values your expertise.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Texas SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC), pediatric, and school-based SLP experience preferred
• Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
• Previous experience working with K-12 students, including those from diverse backgrounds
• Comfort with bilingual evaluation processes is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and deliver therapy sessions for students across K-12 grades
• Provide direct and consultative services tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and report on student outcomes
• Participate in school meetings as needed, contributing to a positive learning environment
