Occupational Therapist

Role Overview: The Occupational Therapist in Home Health assesses and evaluates patients' functional status, activities of daily living, and occupational therapy needs. They provide services within legal practice scope, develop and implement therapy plans in collaboration with physicians, and monitor patient responses to treatment. Key Responsibilities Perform patient assessments using diagnostic and prognostic tests to determine functional ability. Coordinate care with healthcare team members and document patient progress for CMS compliance. Report patient responses and condition changes to supervisors and physicians. Qualifications & Skills Current Occupational Therapy licensure in the state of practice. CPR certification, valid driver's license, and access to transportation. Ability to work effectively in diverse home environments regardless of client background. Preferred skills include multitasking, independence, strong communication, and organizational abilities.
