Sr. IT Project Manager

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Sr. IT Project Manager for a contract assignment with one of our premier Infrastructure services clients in Oakdale, MN . Responsibilities Lead large-scale, complex, or strategically important projects across business units Own end-to-end accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and outcomes Provide leadership across multiple teams, vendors, and delivery partners Serve as primary escalation point for project risks, issues, and decision-making Partner with senior leaders to clarify priorities, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment Develop executive-level status reporting, dashboards, and presentations Coach and mentor junior and experienced project managers Drive adoption and improvement of VMO standards, metrics, and delivery frameworks Contribute to portfolio planning and prioritization discussions Required Skills Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred 8–10+ years of progressive project management experience Proven success delivering enterprise-scale projects in regulated or complex environments Strong expertise in Agile, hybrid, and traditional methodologies Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders without direct authority Advanced financial management and forecasting skills Preferred Skills PMP SAFe, Scrum Master, or Agile Coach certification SGA is a technology and resource solutions provider driven to stand out.
