Legal Support Specialist (Tax)

Palo Alto, California Primary Responsibilities Prepare expense reports and check requests. Create new business memos and engagement letters. Mail and binders, and handle calendar entries. Edit pre‑bills and maintain electronic files. Assist with travel arrangements and scheduling meetings. Support attorneys with document production, compiling documents, and preparing binders. Quality‑check materials to ensure proper collation. Organize physical and electronic files, create hyperlinks, and file electronically. Track deadlines for tax filings, compliance requirements, and court dates. Assist with the preparation of tax forms, filings, and supporting documents. Qualifications Strong interest in the legal profession. Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent administrative and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle a high‑volume desk with extreme accuracy and meticulous attention to detail. Strong proofreading and computer skills. Positive self‑starter with a strong work ethic and professional demeanor. Initiative, ability to multi‑task, and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment. Team player who can adapt to changing technologies and procedures. Minimum of 4 days in the office, remote 1 day (schedule may change based on business needs). Overtime flexibility required. BA/BS degree required. Notary Public status is a plus. Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered in accordance with the California Fair Chance Act.
