Position Summary:

The Concessions Associate (Concessionaire) is responsible for assisting the Concessions Manager to maintain vessel concessions stand in order to generate sales that will maximize revenue. The Concessions Associate (Concessionaire) will set up and close the vessel concessions area. The individual is also responsible for exemplary customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for completing tasks delegated by Concessions managers such as stocking/re-stocking and cleaning.
• Responsible for assisting with the set up and closing of the vessel concession each business day.
• Responsible for assisting in maintaining a sanitary environment and equipment each business day.
• Responsible for adhering to all company policies such as uniform and cell phone policies.
• Interact as needed with fellow crew at all points of embarkation.
• Must assist crew in the event of an emergency in accordance with safety drill protocols.
• Responsible for communication questions, concerns, or problems to Concessions Manager and/or supervisors.
• Must perform cashier duties as needed.
• Must exhibit superior customer service skills.
• Serve an information source for customers.
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Customer service experience is required.
• Previous cash handling/food handling experience required.
• Strong customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Maintain a high level of organization, detailed oriented and meet deadlines.
• Handle multiple tasks/projects at one time.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships as required by job responsibility.
• Listen effectively, assess the situation, determine relevant issues, & suggest solutions.
• Have a working knowledge of computer skills, including but not limited to proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites.
• Must be able to effectively understand and convey written and verbal information to coworkers and guests.
• Maintain uniform and personal grooming in compliance with appearance standards.
• Will be required to be available for work nights, weekends and on all major holidays.
