We’re looking for full‑time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one or our state‑of-the-art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Ridgewood, NJ area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States. About the Position of Assistant Manager As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Responsibilities include enforcing established policies, procedures and standards, scheduling mechanics and technicians, managing outside orders, ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs, meeting customer expectations and maintaining the safety of team members. About the Position of Service Manager The Service Manager is responsible for assisting customers with tire selections and recommending necessary under‑car repair services. In addition, the Service Manager must ensure complete customer satisfaction by delivering timely completion of high‑quality vehicle repair and maintenance. Responsibilities include directing the workflow of mechanics, alignment technicians and tire technicians, staging vehicle repair/maintenance work, communicating directly with customers, assessing customer needs and providing information regarding requested or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance, and striving to meet customer expectations. Qualifications Be at least 18 years of age. Be legally authorized to work in the United States. Possess either 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, or 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
