School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Ontario, California

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
• Valid state licensure or certification as an SLPA
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication skills and an enthusiastic, student-centered approach
• Ability to work collaboratively with Speech-Language Pathologists, educators, and families
• Adaptable and reliable, with a positive attitude toward supporting students of diverse backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with implementing individualized speech therapy plans designed by supervising SLPs
• Conduct activities to enhance students' communication skills
• Collect and record data on student progress under the guidance of licensed SLPs
• Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, and other school staff to ensure continuity of care
• Prepare and organize materials for speech therapy sessions
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all students

These onsite positions are scheduled for up to 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, starting August 5, 2026. Support students while gaining valuable experience working alongside passionate colleagues.
