Accountants One is working with a Real Estate Company looking for a Senior Accountant. They are adding to the team due to a promotion. This person will work directly with the Accounting Manager/ Controller and will get exposure to the CFO. This is a very collaborative team, and they work closely together.

The Senior Accountant will handle the following:

• Assist with the development and project accounting reporting along with booking investment entries
• Review projects, waterfalls, quarterly close entries, and A/R
• Assist with audit preparation in accordance with GAAP
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting to the parent company
• Prepare forecasts and reports to show the parent company
• Research, book actuals to forecast, and ad hoc reporting
• Treasury/cash management – maintain banking relationships
• Maintain and monitor expenses, corporate T&E, create entries, report budget to actual to key leadership

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
• MUST have a CPA or CPA tracking
• 3+ years of real estate accounting
• Blend of public accounting and industry ideal
• Or straight from Public Accounting
• ERP system experience
• Team-oriented person who can work in a collaborative work environment
• Must have real estate industry experience
