What You'll Be Doing Develop and maintain strong relationships with borrowers, referral partners, and community organizations Originate residential mortgage loans with a focus on first-time homebuyers and low-to-moderate income borrowers Build and manage a strong pipeline of mortgage business throughout Fairfield County Provide excellent customer service and guidance throughout the lending process Cross-sell bank products and services when appropriate Maintain compliance with all lending regulations and internal policies Partner closely with underwriting and operations teams to ensure a smooth and efficient loan process What We're Looking For 3+ years of mortgage lending experience preferred Proven track record of producing $10mm+ annually Strong business development and relationship-building skills Existing clientele and referral network within Fairfield County required Experience working with first-time homebuyers and low-to-moderate income borrowers is highly desired Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills What The Bank Offers Interest rates well below market averages Innovative lending approach and creative borrower programs Large suite of mortgage products Down payment assistance programs available Excellent culture with flexibility and strong support from leadership Quick credit decision turnaround times to help get deals closed efficiently Opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the local community If you are a motivated Mortgage Loan Officer looking for a strong community bank platform with exceptional products and culture, we would love to speak with you confidentially.
