Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized, accredited college or university; Eligible for a valid Texas teacher certificate appropriate for teaching assignment; General knowledge of coaching techniques and strategies; Knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules and regulations; A minimum of four (4) years of coaching experience in a formal educational setting preferred; Experience as a coach in more than one sport preferred; Demonstrates leadership in working with diverse students, staff, families, and communities. Terms Of Employment Probationary/Term Contract: 187 days Salary Pay Grade T60 (Teacher Classification) as approved by the Board of Trustees Additional athletic stipend as approved. Essential Functions Develop and maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective teaching and learning. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
