Executive Role Overview We are seeking a visionary Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) to lead the clinical informatics strategy and medical technology direction across Med Clinic X products and healthcare solutions. In this executive role, you will bridge clinical leadership and healthcare technology innovation, ensuring that all digital health systems align with clinical workflows, patient safety, regulatory standards, and real-world medical practice. You will work directly with engineering leadership, product executives, healthcare stakeholders, and AI teams to shape the future of healthcare technology. Key Responsibilities Clinical Informatics Leadership Define and lead clinical informatics strategy across healthcare SaaS platforms. Align medical workflows with digital health systems and EHR integrations. Ensure clinical accuracy, safety, and usability across all healthcare technologies. Advise on clinical decision support systems and healthcare data usage. Healthcare Technology Strategy Lead digital transformation initiatives for healthcare systems and platforms. Guide development of AI-powered healthcare solutions and predictive analytics tools. Oversee integration of EHR/EMR systems and interoperability frameworks. Champion AI adoption in clinical workflows and healthcare operations. Guide development of intelligent healthcare automation systems. Evaluate machine learning and predictive analytics applications in healthcare. Ensure ethical and safe use of AI in healthcare environments. Work with CTO, product leadership, and engineering teams. Advise healthcare clients and organizations on digital transformation. Engage with clinical stakeholders and healthcare executives. Represent Med Clinic X in strategic healthcare innovation initiatives. Healthcare Technology Areas You Will Influence Oversee Clinical Advisory boards defining features for clinical interfaces and charting modules. Clinical informatics systems Bridge clinical outcomes and engineering workflows to optimize user experience and medical safety. Formulate strategic data flow schemas connecting enterprise health systems with client portals. Define validation policy and security safeguards for algorithms assisting diagnostic classifications. Design clinical waiting room logic and doctor coordination schemas matching virtual consult rules. Optimize clinical alerts thresholds to insulate providers from notification fatigue. Executive Requirements Clinical Informatics Leadership Required MD or DO equivalent clinical degree Required Clinical Decision Support Systems Required Clinical AI Governance & Safety Highly Valued HL7/FHIR Interoperability standards Preferred Required Qualifications MD, DO, or equivalent clinical degree (strongly preferred). Experience in clinical informatics, healthcare IT leadership, or digital health strategy. Strong understanding of EHR/EMR systems and clinical workflows. Proven leadership in healthcare digital transformation initiatives. Preferred Qualifications Experience as CMIO, VP of Medical Informatics, or similar executive role. Experience in US healthcare systems or hospital networks. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare data security laws.
