Job Description Commercial Lines Producer – Inside Sales Position An established and growing independent insurance agency is seeking a motivated Commercial Lines Producer to join the team. This role is ideal for a sales-driven individual passionate about developing new business relationships, delivering risk management solutions, and building a long-term career within the commercial insurance industry. Responsibilities Generate new commercial lines business through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, digital marketing, and community engagement. Develop and maintain relationships with business owners, decision-makers, and referral partners. Identify client exposures and recommend tailored insurance and risk management solutions. Prepare and present customized insurance proposals from multiple carriers. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through binding coverage and onboarding new clients. Collaborate with internal service teams to ensure a smooth client experience and strong retention. Cross-sell additional coverages and identify opportunities to grow accounts over time. Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, carrier appetites, and compliance requirements. Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance metrics. Qualifications / Requirements Minimum of 1 year of sales experience; commercial insurance sales experience preferred. Active P&C (Property & Casualty) insurance license in New York required. Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills. Self-motivated, competitive, and goal‑oriented mindset. Ability to manage pipelines, follow‑up activity, and prospecting efforts independently. Comfortable utilizing CRM systems and carrier quoting platforms; Applied Epic experience preferred but not required. Experience working with small to middle‑market commercial accounts is a plus.
