Commercial Lines Producer - Middle Market
Job Summary

A growing insurance brokerage is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Producer to join an expanding national platform. This remote opportunity is open to qualified candidates nationwide.

The position is designed for an established middle-market producer who wants access to the technology, carrier relationships, resources, and support of a larger brokerage while maintaining an entrepreneurial, relationship-driven approach to business development.

The ideal candidate has a demonstrated ability to generate new Commercial Lines business, develop strong relationships with decision-makers, and build a sustainable pipeline. The organization is prepared to invest in experienced producers and provide the infrastructure needed to support continued production growth.
Responsibilities

• Generate new middle-market Commercial Lines business through prospecting, referrals, networking, centers of influence, and other business development activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with business owners, executives, financial leaders, risk managers, and other key decision-makers.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting and discovery through proposal development and closing.
• Assess client risks and recommend appropriate Commercial Property and Casualty insurance solutions.
• Develop and maintain a strong, sustainable pipeline of prospective clients.
• Collaborate with account management, carrier, and internal support teams to deliver a strong client experience.
• Leverage available technology, market access, and organizational resources to pursue larger and more complex opportunities.
• Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities to expand existing accounts.
• Participate in ongoing sales strategy, planning, and professional development initiatives.
• Work toward established production and revenue growth expectations.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Proven Commercial Lines insurance sales and business development experience.
• Strong background working with middle-market Commercial Property and Casualty accounts.
• Demonstrated history of generating new business and growing a book of business.
• Ability to independently prospect, develop relationships, and create new opportunities.
• Strong understanding of Commercial P&C coverages, risk management concepts, and insurance markets.
• Experience managing the full sales process from prospecting through closing.
• Consultative and relationship-driven approach to business development.
• Established professional network or centers of influence strongly preferred.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to significantly grow production.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
• Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.

Compensation Package

• Base Salary: $100,000 - $150,000
• New Business Commission: Tiered commission structure with rates ranging from approximately 40% to 50% based on annual production
• Renewal Commission: Approximately 25%
