Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Experience or coursework in school-based PT preferred
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and documentation
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and caregivers
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a passion for supporting diverse learners

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ physical abilities and develop treatment plans targeted to their educational needs
• Deliver direct physical therapy services, both individual and group, within the school setting
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
• Maintain accurate and timely progress notes, treatment records, and compliance documentation
• Educate teachers, families, and students on adaptive strategies, exercises, and equipment use
• Consult with staff to ensure accommodations support students’ access to the school environment
• Adapt therapy approaches as needed for the school schedule and environment
