Job Type Full-time Position Overview The Director of Purchasing will be responsible for developing and executing purchasing strategies that ensure cost-effectiveness, consistency, and quality across our group. This role requires strong leadership, negotiation skills, and expertise in restaurant supply chain management. Familiarity with Restaurant365 is essential for success. Responsibilities Oversee purchasing activities for 10–15 restaurant locations. Develop, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts to optimize cost savings and quality. Implement and maintain purchasing systems and processes in Restaurant365. Analyze purchasing data to identify cost‑saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency. Ensure consistent supply of food, beverage, and operational goods to all units. Collaborate with culinary, operations, and finance teams to align procurement with business goals. Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and delivery standards. Lead and mentor the purchasing team to drive continuous improvement. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, or related field (preferred). 10+ years of progressive procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the restaurant or hospitality industry. Experience overseeing purchasing for multi‑unit operations (10+ locations preferred). Proficiency with Restaurant365 and strong data analysis skills. Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management abilities. Proven track record of cost savings and process improvement.
