Customer Account Specialist - Arlington Heights, IL
$60,000 - $73, 000 + 401K Match, Benefits, Unlimited PTO
We are an established parts distribution company with over 60 years of experience supplying quality replacement parts to customers across the country. With a strong reputation for product reliability, customer service, and long-standing customer relationships, we continue to grow our team.
We are looking for a Customer Account Specialist to support our sales team, manage customer orders, and ensure seamless experience from order entry through fulfillment.
What You’ll Do
Sales Order Management
- Enter and process customer sales orders accurately in SAP.
- Review orders for accuracy, pricing, product information, and shipping details.
- Track orders from entry through fulfillment and communicate updates as needed.
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve order discrepancies and delays.
Customer Account Support
- Serve as a point of contact for customer questions regarding orders, shipping, and product availability.
- Maintain accurate customer account information and order records.
- Follow up on outstanding orders and resolve customer concerns promptly.
- Build strong customer relationships through responsive communication and reliable service.
Sales Team Support
- Work closely with sales representatives to coordinate customer orders and requests.
- Communicate order changes, shipping updates, and potential issues.
- Provide day-to-day support to keep sales operations organized and running smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 year of experience supporting sales operations, including sales order entry and processing.
- Previous SAP experience is required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow through in a fast-paced environment.
