The Opportunity We\'re looking for an experienced Senior Staff Accountant to take ownership of our accounting operations and help build the financial infrastructure behind a rapidly growing healthcare company. This is a high-impact role where you\'ll work directly with the founders, own the month-end close, improve financial processes, and help leadership make better business decisions through accurate, timely reporting. We\'re looking for someone who enjoys building, improving, and taking ownership—not someone who simply wants to process transactions. What You\'ll Do Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process Prepare journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules Maintain the general ledger and serve as the primary administrator of QuickBooks Online Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll coordination Prepare monthly financial statements, reporting packages, and variance analyses for leadership Support revenue recognition across recurring subscription and service revenue Monitor cash flow and help improve financial forecasting and reporting accuracy Develop scalable accounting policies, documentation, and internal controls Coordinate with external CPA firms on tax filings and year-end financial reporting Identify process improvements and implement systems that increase efficiency and accuracy Partner with leadership on financial analysis, budgeting, and operational initiatives as the company grows What We\'re Looking For Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance 4+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting Experience managing month-end close independently Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment A proactive mindset with a desire to improve processes Preferred Qualifications Experience in a startup or high-growth company Experience with recurring revenue or subscription-based businesses Tools You\'ll Use QuickBooks Online Stripe HubSpot Gusto Google Workspace Why Join Staffing For Doctors?
