Senior Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our client. You will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close processes, account reconciliations, external audit support, and financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of GAAP, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced environment. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $100,000 to $110,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounts receivable process, including customer invoicing, payment application, and follow-up on overdue accounts to ensure healthy cash flow.
  
  
• Monitor and reconcile inventory accounts, working closely with the operations team to ensure accurate inventory reporting and valuation.
  
  
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with accounting principles.
  
  
• Participate in the month-end closing process, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports.
  
  
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses to provide insights into financial performance.
  
  
• Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and assisting in audit inquiries.
  
  

Requirements:

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
