Staff or Senior Accountant
$35 - $40 per hourCentury Group
Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Staff or Senior Accountant to join their team for a temporary role. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $35 to $40 per hour.
Job Responsibilities- Oversee and manage the month-end closing process, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Monitor and reconcile accrued expenses to maintain accurate records.
- Reconcile accounts, review journal entries, and prepare financial statements.
- Regularly reconcile accounts to identify discrepancies.
- Prepare documentation for external auditors during audit cycles.
- Analyze budget performance against actual results.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
- 3-5+ years of accounting experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and accounting software's ERP (Blackbaud)
- Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP
- Effective communication and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
