Position Summary:

Allergy Asthma Sinus Center, a well-established and respected private practice in Culver City, CA, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Physician Assistant to join our team. This position is a part time or full time position. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Allergist, you will receive on-the-job training in the specialty of allergy and immunology. This is an excellent opportunity for a Physician Assistant who is eager to expand their knowledge and skills while providing high-quality care to adult and pediatric patients in specialty and in an upscale setting.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain and document patient medical histories, perform physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests.
• Collaborate with the supervising Allergist to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with allergies and immunological disorders.
• Assist in the administration of allergy testing, including skin prick and intradermal tests, as well as interpretation of results.
• Prescribe medications and immunotherapy treatments as needed, in accordance with practice protocols and under the supervision of the Allergist.
• Educate patients on the management of their allergic conditions and proper use of medications.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians and specialists, to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record system.
• Stay current on the latest research, treatments, and best practices in allergy and immunology.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and current PA certification.
• Current California Physician Assistant license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with supervising physician.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality patient care.

Compensation:

• negotiable

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. No weekends or evening hours.
