Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a vibrant school-based setting near Starkville, MS. We’re seeking two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to join a collaborative educational community for the 2026-2027 school year. You'll play an essential role in empowering students to reach their communication goals while working in an inspiring and supportive environment.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Experience providing speech and language services in a school setting preferred
• Current and valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Passion for fostering student growth, success, and confidence

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver assessments, develop intervention plans, and provide therapy for students with diverse speech and language needs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student progress and create tailored support plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and district requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable input for student-centered planning
• Create an engaging, positive, and inclusive atmosphere for individual and small group sessions

Role Details and Benefits:

• Two contract positions available
• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• School year dates: July 27, 2026 – May 26, 2027
