Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health needs and devise effective treatment plans, tailored to each individual's situation.

• Deliver personalized individual therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices to foster healing, growth, and emotional well-being.

• Collaboratively set therapeutic goals with clients, continuously monitoring and evaluating progress to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions to encourage peer support and shared experiences among clients, helping to reduce isolation and build community.

• Provide teletherapy services for clients who may have mobility challenges or prefer remote sessions for convenience and comfort.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, adhering to ethical and legal standards, as well as maintaining confidentiality in all communications.

• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, participating in staff meetings and supervision sessions to refine clinical skills and stay updated on best practices in therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a therapist at Yellow Stone Counseling Services, you will primarily work with diverse populations, including individuals, couples, and families. Your client demographic may encompass individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, and other mental health issues. We are particularly committed to providing culturally competent care and encourage applicants with experience or a focus on serving clients from marginalized backgrounds, including communities of color and LGBTQIA+ individuals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• A valid state-issued license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of two years of full-time counseling experience in a mental health setting.

• Demonstrated expertise in working with couples, children, adolescents, or families.

Compensation and Benefits\n
