Accounts payable specialist

As the AP Specialist, you won't just be "processing paper"-you will be the gatekeeper of vendor relationships and the engine behind the department's monthly financial health.


What We're Looking For:

• Experience: 2+ years of dedicated Accounts Payable experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables are a plus) and experience with mid-to-large tier ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage, or Microsoft Dynamics)
• Accuracy: A "eagle eye" for detail-you catch the duplicate invoice before it hits the system.
• Reliability: Since this role is 100% in-office, we need a professional who values the collaboration and consistency of a traditional office environment.

salary: $20 - $23 per hour

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, from high-volume invoice entry to weekly check runs and ACH payments.
• Verify purchase orders, receiving reports, and invoices to ensure 100% accuracy before payment.
• Act as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, reconciling statements, and resolving discrepancies with a "client-first" attitude.
• Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with internal company policies.
• Assist the Controller with month-end closing procedures and 1099 maintenance.
