Position Summary Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes and organization? Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members through follow recipes and wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. It’s hard work, but our bakery team finds it rewarding, especially since they’re a part of a large team with a common goal: happy, satisfied members. Role Overview Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team; communicate with team members and adapt to business needs, including working in other areas. Operate baking equipment, follow recipes/make‑up instructions, wrap, label, and store merchandise according to company policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold‑chain compliance, and inventory management. Maintain and sanitize equipment; demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution. Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Use handheld technology for production decisions, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality. Commit to operational excellence: maintain work area, ensure quality and date‑control standards, secure fragile merchandise, eliminate waste, assist members with purchasing decisions, and ensure proper packaging and labeling. Advocate for the department and club by modeling high‑quality service and products, executing basics at the highest level, and exhibiting energy, commitment, and passion. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; apply the Open Door Policy. Complete work assignments using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other partners; identify priorities; communicate progress; recommend improvements; adapt to change.
