We're looking to add Area Sales Manager to our team to support our growth in the Itasca market. In this position, you will be responsible for the performance and productivity of their assigned sales team. This individual will work closely with the Regional Manager develop sales strategy and goals and is also responsible for coordinating local sales efforts with corporate sales initiatives.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the sales functions of the assigned region.
• Monitor productivity of teams against company goals.
• Drive team to achieve sales goals,
• Identify new market opportunities for sales team to enter.
• Coordinate local sales strategy with corporate sales initiatives.
• Provide reports for management team based on performance of sales team.
• Mentor and develop associate with new sales techniques.
• Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION:

• Bachelor's degree preferred and/or minimum of 5 years of experience leading a sales team.
• Proven track record of driving teams to sales targets and goals.
• Experience in distribution industry preferred.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

This position is based in the Itasca, IL area, so only candidates residing in the Chicagoland area will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
