(USA) Tire and Battery Center Team Leader

Position Summary As a Tire and Battery Center Services Lead you will drive member service in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver safe and efficient services. You will model expertise in Tire and Battery Center and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations. What you’ll do Be a Team Leader: Supervise the team within the Tire and Battery Center to deliver on the business plan, communicate goals, set guidelines and expectations, execute company programs, adhere to policies, and advocate for the member, associate, and company. Be an Expert: Maintain in‑depth knowledge of business floor safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, tire recalls, product specifications, and seasonality to ensure consistent daily processes. Share knowledge, train the team, ensure they know new products and technologies, and attend training conferences. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, elevate associate engagement. Use handheld technology to make immediate decisions related to services, safety alerts, new product information, product application, and training. Adopt new tools and encourage others. Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, maintain a neat, clean and safe work area, plan orders, tools, and supplies, monitor returns and special orders, assist in staffing and scheduling, operate cash registers, process transactions, and support member service on the ground. Maintain accurate inventory, audit safety compliance, complete paperwork and logs, model member service commitment. Be a Talent Ambassador: Train and teach team to be highly effective, monitor associates to complete e‑learnings and trainings, identify potential, provide necessary skill development, encourage career growth, source new talent internally and externally, develop processes to meet business needs, monitor progress and results, address improvement opportunities, and support compliance with company policies and ethical standards. Drive continuous improvement: Demonstrate curiosity, take calculated risks, create a culture of belonging, support team building, mentor, recognize contributions, act with integrity, put customer first, make decisions based on reliable information, balance priorities, and foster excellence. Compensation Hourly wage range: $22.00 to $30.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Minimum Qualifications 6 months supervisory experience or 6 months experience in automotive industry. Must be 18 years of age or older. Successfully complete all required job trainings and assessments within prescribed time period. Preferred Qualifications Supervisory experience in tire industry. Tire industry certification.
