Job Details Location: Nebraska Dispatch - Omaha, NE 68137 Dispatch Supervisor responsible for assisting quality and efficient customer service through daily monitoring of a team by providing guidance and technical support to MMT Ambulance communication center. An incumbent in this classification works with considerable independence and receives general guidance from a superior. Managing the communication center personnel on shift along with efficient customer service through daily monitoring of a team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversight of Communication Center activities and associated policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with customer service and dispatch quality assurance principles. Demonstrate the ability to work productively with all involved stakeholders of the organization including operations field staff and area hospitals. Attend assigned meetings to represent Communication Center. Provide back up at peak volume times. Prepare reports as requested. Physical Demands Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Must be able to hear well. Must be able to speak, write, and understand English fluently. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Previous call communication center experience. Previous experience in prehospital setting required (ground ambulance, fire department, law enforcement, etc.). Previous progressive supervisory and administrative experience in the medical services or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge skills and abilities. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Self-confidence, emotional stability, good judgment, and tolerance for high stress. Possess good verbal communication skills.
