Job Details Location: Nebraska Dispatch – Omaha, NE 68137. Position Summary Dispatch Manager – responsible for overseeing the communication center, ensuring quality and customer service, guiding and providing technical support to MMT Ambulance’s communication center. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee Communication Center activities and associated policies and procedures. Manage scheduling, training, retention, and performance of Communication Center personnel. Ensure compliance with customer service and dispatch quality assurance principles. Guarantee that all Communication Center personnel are adequately trained and maintain required credentials. Work productively with stakeholders, including the public, agencies, elected officials, and area hospitals. Attend official public meetings to represent the Communication Center. Physical Demands Ability to sit for long periods. Good hearing. Fluency in speaking, writing, and understanding English. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Experience working in a call center. Previous experience in a prehospital setting (ground ambulance, fire department, law enforcement, etc.). Progressive supervisory and administrative experience in medical services or a comparable combination of training and experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Self-confidence, emotional stability, good judgment, and tolerance for high stress. Strong verbal communication skills. Ability to handle adverse situations effectively.
