Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity is available for a compounding pharmacist based in Greensboro, NC. This role provides a chance to apply your pharmacy expertise in a dynamic environment focused on delivering high-quality compounded medication services.

Schedule and Hours:

• 40 hours per week: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every third Saturday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Includes a 30-minute lunch break

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense compounded prescriptions, including sterile and non-sterile medications, with careful attention to quality and safety.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to best meet individual patient needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory to ensure operational efficiency.
• Provide expert pharmaceutical consultation to patients, aiding optimum therapeutic outcomes.
• Assist in the training and supervision of pharmacy technician staff to uphold standards of practice.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in North Carolina.
• 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience preferred; passionate new graduates with compounding interest are encouraged to apply.
• Working knowledge of USP 795, 797, and 800 guidelines governing compounding procedures.
• Familiarity with retail pharmacy operations and prescription processing.
• Experience or willingness to learn pharmacy software similar to PK (training provided).

This role involves handling an average daily volume of 75-80 compounded prescriptions and offers comprehensive training on pharmacy systems.
