Clinical Pharmacist - Greensboro, NC

Seeking a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in compounding for a 13-week temp-to-perm opportunity in Greensboro, NC. This role offers hands-on experience with both sterile and non-sterile compounded medications, working alongside a dedicated healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.


Schedule and Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Every third Saturday, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Includes a 30-minute lunch break

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare providers to tailor treatments to individual patient needs.
• Prepare and dispense compounded prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain precise patient records and manage pharmaceutical inventory.
• Provide expert pharmaceutical guidance to patients for improved health outcomes.
• Assist in training and supervising pharmacy technician staff, fostering a compliant and efficient environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in North Carolina.
• 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience preferred; new graduates passionate about compounding are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of USP 795, 797, and 800 compounding standards.
• Experience or familiarity with retail pharmacy operations and prescription processing.
• Comfortable using pharmacy software similar to QS1; training will be provided for PK software.
