Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist | Greensboro, North Carolina

An immediate opportunity is available for an experienced Infusion Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations in Greensboro, NC. This per diem contract assignment offers exposure to home infusion services, with the potential for long-term placement or permanent hire. The role demands expertise in sterile compounding and adherence to rigorous safety standards in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.


Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders specifically for infusion therapies
• Oversee preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications
• Ensure full compliance with USP and standards
• Provide clinical support and drug information to pharmacy staff and patients
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain efficient workflow and ensure patient safety
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to regulatory guidelines

Schedule/Shift:

• Immediate shifts available on April 8, 9, 10
• Week of April 27-May 1, minimum 2 days coverage needed
• Additional shifts expected weekly with flexible scheduling

Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina Pharmacist license in good standing
• Recent experience in infusion or home infusion pharmacy
• Strong sterile compounding skills
• Familiarity with USP and guidelines
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic environment

This role does not initially require serving as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC), but candidates must be willing to assume PIC responsibilities if hired permanently. This assignment is ideal for pharmacists seeking per diem work with the potential to transition to a permanent position.
