Staff Pharmacist | Greensboro, North Carolina

This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist position in a specialty retail environment focused on both sterile and non-sterile compounding. Candidates with pharmacy experience and an interest in compounding will find this role engaging and rewarding.


Schedule and Location:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break
• Located in Greensboro, NC
• Contract duration: 13 weeks with the possibility of direct hire

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and compound sterile and non-sterile prescriptions in accordance with pharmacy practices and safety standards
• Utilize PK order entry system (training provided for candidates new to PK)
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations, including documentation and patient safety protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and pharmacy staff to ensure quality patient care
• Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of compounded products

Qualifications and Experience:

• Pharmacy license valid in North Carolina is required
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience required
• Experience in sterile compounding is highly desirable
• Experience in non-sterile compounding is a plus
• Willingness to work in a specialty compounding retail environment
