Position

Hood Packaging Corporation is seeking an experienced General Accountant for our Arden Hills, MN location.

Scope Of Position

The General Accountant is responsible for calculating and tracking operating costs such as labor, raw material, overhead, inventory, etc.; analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, etc. to determine the effect on costs; comparing factors affecting prices and productivity; preparing ad-hoc summaries and variance reports; as well as implementing related cost accounting policies, systems, and procedures.
