Old Dutch Foods, Inc. 2375 Terminal Rd W Saint Paul, MN 55113, USA On-site Travel Required : No Administration Full-Time Requisition #: STAFF001142 Description Seeking a Staff Accountant to join the team at Old Dutch Foods in Roseville, MN. This role reports to the Assistant Controller and is responsible for day-to-day accounting activities, including account reconciliations, accruals, and general ledger maintenance. The Staff Accountant also provides backup support across accounting functions to help ensure continuity of operations and will assume responsibility for rebate accounting, including accurate tracking, recording, and reporting. Responsibilities Prepare and record journal entries, complete account reconciliations, and support monthly accruals and general ledger maintenance Support month-end close activities, including preparation of schedules, analysis of account activity, and follow-up on reconciling items Assume responsibility for rebate accounting, including tracking rebate activity, recording related entries, maintaining supporting documentation, and preparing reporting as needed Analyze revenue and expense transactions and assist with preparation of accounting schedules and routine reporting Assist with month-end close, year-end close, audit activities, and quarterly or annual filings Provide backup support for other accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting activities Collaborate with the Assistant Controller and accounting team to improve processes, maintain accurate records, and support departmental priorities Assist with special projects and other accounting tasks as assigned Compensation $55,000 - $65,000 per year. Qualifications 1-3 years: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 1-3 years relevant accounting experience. Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience working in ERP systems; JD Edwards experience beneficial. Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external contacts. Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
