About This Role
The position requires good communication and organization skills to work with parents, children, and staff.
We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with children and creating a fun learning environment.
Must have a positive and energetic attitude.
What You'll DoUse provided lesson plans and STEM curriculum to create a fun and engaging classroom environment.
Plan activities that promote the academic, social, and emotional growth of children in individual and group settings.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and parents.
Maintain open communication with parents.
Develop a positive and energetic atmosphere in the classroom.
Adhere to all center policies and state and local requirements.
RequirementsMust have some coursework in Early Childhood Education, CDA, or equivalent.
Some prior experience in childcare or teaching is preferred.
Passionate about working with children.
Positive and enthusiastic attitude required.
CPR, First Aid certification is preferred.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Nice To HavesPrior experience with lesson planning and classroom management.
Knowledge of state and local regulations.
Spanish language skills.
