About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in ICU License: Current and valid nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Patient ratio experience - Charge experience preferred - Experience with high acuity patients Description: Responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver top-tier care to critically ill patients. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patient conditions and communicate relevant information to the healthcare team. Perform assessments and maintain accurate records using electronic health systems. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans. Participate in staff meetings and training opportunities to enhance skills. Ensure adherence to infection control and safety standards within the unit. Handle emergency situations effectively and with a calm demeanor. Be prepared to float to other units as needed.
