The position involves working three 12-hour shifts during night hours. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. On-call duties are not required for this position. The clinician may float within the scope to meet facility needs. There are specific requirements for airway management and IV drip management. Experience with ventilated patients and interpretation of arterial blood gases is essential. The unit will have a mixed acuity with both ICU and step down assignments. Additional interdisciplinary support will be available. Candidates must communicate any vacation plans during the submission process. This position does not accept local candidates. A reference is required for the application. Modules are completed prior to starting and annually, varying by specialty.
