Job Description As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Boca Raton, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Security Officer at a residential community, you will manage access control, greet residents and visitors, verify entry authorization, and monitor assigned areas to help maintain a welcoming environment. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and support a caring culture built on teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation with Allied Universal. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with residential community procedures. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and access logs while providing professional communication with residents and property representatives. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of experience in security-related work is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. A Guard Card or license is required. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
